Impact Kids Miami Soft Launches!

On July 4th, Impact Kids officially soft launched with the formal establishment of our charitable organization! The three founding families of Adam & Kim Bowman, Kirk "JR" & Amy Hearin, and John & Stefanie Lenahan spent time organizing and discussing the key principles and By-Laws while the families vacationed in the Catskills in New York. On our country's Independence Day, we agreed to work together to build our new charitable venture that we hope will have a tremendous impact not only on the lives of our children - but for many kids across our community.

For the soft launch, the families agreed to organize our new charitable entity under Florida Law and establish new operating accounts, a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF), and plan for growth. The founding kids of Elia, Parker, Lila, Cole, and Jack will begin their philanthropic journey this summer. We are targeting two quarterly meetings in September and December for the Founding Impact Pod, and two more in early 2026 before opening new Impact Pods and welcoming new members later in 2026. For now, our focus is on building the right framework and programming structure, themes, cadence, and organizing principles that will allow the program to grow organically with maximum enjoyment and impact for all.
