Kids Officially Wrap-Up Year 1 with Big Human Impact!

1Q Service Learning with Humane Society of Greater Miami Announced
As part of our service learning for the Q1 theme of Animals , Impact Kids Miami will be visiting the H umane Society of Greater Miami on Saturday, February 28th, for an educational session that will include a tour of the shelter, a lesson in animal body language and behaviors, an engagement activity with the well-behaved and trained dog(s), exploring the 8 cat areas, and an activity centered around each child's pet. We Can Help The Environment!
December 7th was a wonderful day of service learning for our Impact Kids, beginning with the “ResilientSea Floating Classroom”, hosted by the Miami Waterkeeper. The kids had an amazing time learning about the ecology and changes of Biscayne Bay from the water, and in the process, tested the water quality and helped collect 34 lbs of debris.
